![]() | The 40 Hour Basic Laser Operator Didactic Course (Live, Flex-time schedule) | This ARRA/ADHS approved course combines the live, Flex-time 40 Hour Basic Laser Didactic Course together with the 48 Hour Flex-Time Clinical Laser Operator Course to provide students who cannot take several days off in a row to complete live, laser training. Classes will be held one day per week for 11 weeks (or other interval). This is an awesome opportunity for esthetic students currently taking night or day classes or those who don't want to use all their vacation time to increase their earning potential! EALA is also are offering a "pay as you learn" option by dividing the payment into 11 payments! (each payment is due 2 weeks before class attended). Enrollment is VERY limited for this popular program as is it in high demand. This course provides comprehensive didactic training and utilizes the latest light based technologies to complete a minimum of 24 hours/10 treatments for hair reduction and 24 hours and a minimum of 10 treatments for certification in other cosmetic lasers procedures including photofacials, fractional non-ablative skin rejuvenation and non-ablative tattoo removal. Enrollees will complete the 40 hour didactic portion and then will be required to take a 50 question test and pass with an 80% or better score to assess knowledge of the material. Those who have successfully passed the assessment will be awarded a certificate of completion and will be prepared to successfully complete the 48 Hour hands-on clinical course component. Once the 48 hour hands-on component is completed, students will receive a certificate of completion for the 88 hour course. These certifications can then be submitted to ARRA/ADHS for licensure. PREREQUISITES: There are no prerequisites for this course. |
![]() | The 48 Hour Clinical Laser Operator Course (Live, Flex-Time schedule) | In order to be licensed in AZ as a laser operator, ARRA/ADHS requires graduates of a 40 hour didactic laser course to complete 24 hours of directly supervised permanent hair reduction treatments (a minimum of 10 separate treatments). If an AZ laser operator wishes to perform any other laser treatment in addition to permanent hair reduction, he/she must complete an additional 24 hours of directly supervised hands on cosmetic laser treatments with a minimum of 10 separate treatments per modality (e.g. 10 tattoo removal treatments, 10 IPL treatments, etc.). Many states have similar requirements. For those who are not able to complete these treatments under the direct supervision of a medical director, EALA provides an ARRA/ADHS approved 48 Hour Clinical Laser Operator Course. This ARRA/ADHS approved course utilizes the latest light based technologies to complete a minimum of 24 hours/10 treatments for hair reduction and 24 hours and a minimum of 10 treatments for certification in other cosmetic lasers procedures including photofacials, fractional non-ablative skin rejuvenation and non-ablative tattoo removal. Unlike other laser training schools, EALA limits clinical class sizes to a maximum of 6 students per instructor to allow for more hands-on time and individual mentoring. Small classes and highly experienced instructors help build the skill sets and confidence needed for our students to become successfully employed. EALA uses the latest equipment from top laser companies such as Alma and the Cynosure family of lasers. This Flex-Time version of the live course was developed for estheticians, cosmetologists, and individuals making a career change into laser esthetics who cannot take several days off in a row to complete live, laser training. Classes will be held one day per week for 5 or 6 weeks (or other interval). Classes are held in our ultra-comfortable training theater equipped with leather recliners, complimentary refreshments and an 82” TV. EALA has developed the most comprehensive ARRA/ADHS approved laser curriculum which includes the latest training in laser biophysics, laser hair reduction, photofacials, laser safety, and many other required topics. Attendees will also become certified as a Laser Safety Officer (attendees must provide a current CPR card for LSO certification), which affords the ability to function in that capacity for an organization. AZ Attendees are required by ARRA/ADHS to take a 50 question test and pass with an 80% or better score.
